Traditional Komebukuro (translates Kome-Rice Bukuro-Bag) are a cotton drawstring bags used to carry rice and other items as offerings to the temples. Our collection of bags are inspired by this amazing Japanese style bag. I love this style as it lends itself to using beautiful patch work and hand embroidery for a very unique look. These are all one of a kind hand made pieces.
