One of a kind hand made Komebukuro style rice bag. This bag is made from many small beautiful pieces of fabric I have collected over the years. Together they create an amazing and fun, one of a kind bag. The inside is lined with a tie dyed cotton canvas for a little bit of structure. The bag cinches closed with 4 metal koki clips.

One of a kind hand made Komebukuro style rice bag. Komebukuro bags were a simple cotton draw string bag used to carry rice to the temples in Japan as a form of offering, hence the name Kome(rice) Bukuro(bag). We have a selection of simple fun bags to more intricate pieced fabrics and hand embroidery. All bags handmade with care in beautiful Austin Texas.
